Day 1: Bangkok â€“ Chonburi -Rayong(L)
Depart from your Bangkok hotel at 08.00 AM or go straight from the airport to Chanthaburi Province, located on the east coast of Thailand. Drive out of Bangkok for three hours towards Chanthaburi with a visit en-route.
Here you will discover plentiful nurseries of sea animals. Make a short stop to stretch your legs at Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden in Chonburi; the garden is a sprawling recreation park in a typical Thai setting, featuring traditional Thai pavilions. Many varieties of colourful flowering plants are dotting throughout the beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at Ban Phe in Rayong. After lunch, drive to Wat Khao Sukim, which was built in 1966 and today houses a large collection of religious items and valuable antiques donated by the public. Drive to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Chantaburi (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to Ao Khung Kraben Development Study Center. Under instructions from His Majesty the King, this area is protected as a natural zone, home to wild habitats such as mangrove forests. Today Lunch is served at local Restaurant. You will visit Chanthaboonâ€™s Riverside Community. The experience is all about discovering Thainess in the centuries-old Chanthaboon riverside community. You will be amazed to learn that some of the families here can trace their roots back from the reign of King Narai the Great, over three centuries ago. Chanthaboon Riverside Community in the old days, this area was called.
Here, you can explore the narrow street, lined with old wooden and brick shop houses. It would probably make you feel travelling back in time as you admired two-storey antique shop houses, with striking curved window arches influenced by European architecture. Indeed the French occupied this area for a short time in the early 20th Century. Also visit the famous gothic-style Catholic Church in Chanthaburi Built in 1909. The original tall roof was taken down during World War II to make it less conspicuous as a possible target for bombers. The Vietnam immigrants were a Christian group who moved to this area some 300 years ago and evidence of their strong faith can be seen today in the towering edifice of their gothic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Built in 1909 this is the largest Church in Thailand. It is also known as the Notre Dame of Thailand. Today Lunch is served at local Restaurant

Day 3: Chantaburi - Koh Chang, Trat (B/L)
After breakfast, continue driving to Trat with a stop en-route at continue to the highlighted temple of Trat â€œWat Yothanimitrâ€, also known as Wat Bot, located on Tetsaban 4 Road near the city pillar. This is the only royal temple in Trat. Featuring some fine murals, the temple was once used as the site of the government officials' oath of allegiance ceremony during the reign of King Taksin. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Experiences local community Ban Ngop Chiao or Ban Nam Chiao famous for producing distinctive hats designed to give protection from the sun. The hat is woven with palm leaves from plants grown in the local mangrove area. It is still widely used today, as itâ€™s light and comfortable. The village is also a good place to purchase local marine produce, including dried shrimps, shrimp paste and fish sauce. After lunch. End of program drive to Trat Pier, where you will set off on a journey to Koh Chang. Please contact us if you wish to include accommodation and transfer services to and from Koh Chang.
