It is claimed that it was created by the Japanese then living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the water. After that visit The Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall , located at 46 Tran Phu Street, is a famous sign of Hoi An’s trading history and displays rich architectural features that reflect strong Chinese influence.
