10.00 AM. Mahagundayoung monastery ** Not Included Offering **, located in Amarapura, Myanmar, is the country's most prominent monastic college. The monastery, known for its strict adherence to the Vinaya, the Buddhist monastic code.
11.30 AM. Mahamuni Pagoda is a Buddhist temple and major pilgrimage site, located southwest of Mandalay, Myanmar. The Mahamuni Buddha image is deified in this temple, and originally came from Arakan.
12.00 PM. Lunch at local restaurant
2.00 PM. Kuthodaw Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa, located in Mandalay, Burma, that contains the world's largest book. It lies at the foot of Mandalay Hill and was built during the reign of King Mindon.
2.30 PM. Sandamuni Pagoda is located to the southeast of Mandalay Hill and bears a resemblance to the nearby Kuthodaw pagoda because of the large number of slender whitewashed ancillary stupas on the grounds.
4.30 PM. Uben bridge ** Included Boat ridding ** is a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura in Myanmar. The 1.2-kilometre bridge was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.
6.00 PM. Return to Meeting Point in Mandalay
