Itinerary :
08.30 AM. Pick up at Meeting Point in Mandalay
09.00 AM. Mingun sightseeing by boat along Irrawaddy river
10.00 AM. We will make our first visit to Mingun Pagoda, this one was built as one of the largest chedis in the world by King Bodaw Paya. Then go to Mingun Bell, a magnificent sight of the world’s second-largest bell (90 tons). Take leisure walk to Hsinbyume Paya (also know as Myatheindan Pagoda), an impressive white-washed temple noted for its fabulous architecture built like the shape of Mt Meru.
12.00 PM. Lunch at local restaurant
2.00 PM. Mandalay Palace is the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy. The palace was constructed between 1857 and 1859 as part of King Mindon's founding of the new royal capital city of Mandalay.
2.30 PM. Golden Palace Monastery is one of the few pure teak monasteries in mandalay, not far from the south of the gudu pagoda.
4.30 PM. Mandalay Hill is a 240 metres hill that is located to the northeast of the city centre of Mandalay in Myanmar. The city took its name from the hill. Mandalay Hill is known for its abundance of pagodas and monasteries, and has been a major pilgrimage site for Burmese Buddhists for nearly two centuries.
6.00 PM. Return to Meeting Point in Mandalay
